Dasher Board Upgrade at Astri Arena – Tartu, Estonia
ICE Professional completed a full dasher board replacement at Astri Arena, home of the Tartu Välk 494 hockey club, located in the Lõunakeskus shopping center in Tartu, Estonia.
What we delivered:
Removal of outdated Finnish dasher boards
Supply and installation of the S-Flex system, suitable for both professional and youth hockey
Added a 25-meter soundproofing layer to reduce impact noise
Installed a rubber strip between the boards and concrete gallery to prevent contact and dampen vibrations
Work executed under challenging conditions: limited access, public areas, logistics planning
Why S-Flex?
Excellent shock absorption
Modular design for easy maintenance
Fully compatible with pro-level play and public skating
Clean, modern aesthetics
The result?
Safer, quieter, and more modern surroundings for players and visitors. The project was completed on time despite logistical challenges. Many thanks to Astri Arena for their trust and cooperation.
