Hockey Planet Tashkent: Post-Summer Service Brings a New Training Season

Summer in Tashkent means scorching days with temperatures easily above 40°C. And it was during exactly this period that we agreed something with the Hockey Planet club that shows the strength of a long-term partnership: complete servicing of the ice arena and ongoing technical support going forward.

After Summer, Before the New Season

Operating an ice arena in a hot climate like Tashkent is a year-round challenge. Summer places extraordinary demands on refrigeration technology – and right after it ends is the ideal time for a thorough inspection, before the new season of training and matches gets fully underway.

We agreed with Hockey Planet on servicing the arena and providing ongoing technical support. This isn’t a one-off intervention – it’s a long-term commitment that will keep the arena running reliably throughout the season.

Complete Servicing of the Whole Complex

Our team carried out a complete service of all the arena’s technological equipment.

The result: the arena is running in normal operating mode, ready for full use by both training sessions and matches.

Hockey and Figure Skating – Ice in Full Use

Hockey Planet Arena’s ice currently hosts training for both hockey players and figure skaters. This nicely illustrates a broader trend: Uzbekistan is actively developing winter sports across disciplines, not just hockey.

Why This Matters

This story repeats across our projects in Central Asia, and it’s no coincidence. It’s not just about building an ice surface – it’s about building an ecosystem where new athletes can grow. Without a reliable arena, there is no hockey.

Hockey Planet Tashkent proves exactly that: the arena we delivered is now fully alive – training sessions, growing interest from children, and the development of both figure skating and hockey at the same time.

ICE Professional: Service That Enables Sport to Grow

Just as in Samarkand, the same rule applies in Tashkent – quality construction and long-term service are what allow ice to serve athletes reliably year after year, regardless of how extreme the local climate is.
